We're seeking a
Senior Automotive Technician
to join our high-performing workshop and play a key role in servicing, diagnosing, and repairing Kia vehicles to the highest manufacturer standards.

The Opportunity
As a
Senior Automotive Technician
, you'll be responsible for carrying out advanced diagnostics, servicing, repairs, and technical support while maintaining exceptional quality and efficiency. You'll work with state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment, tackle complex technical challenges, and help mentor the next generation of technicians.
This role is perfect for an experienced skilled technician who enjoys problem-solving, takes pride in their workmanship, and wants to be part of a dealership that values expertise and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
Perform advanced diagnosis of mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle faults.
Complete servicing, repairs, warranty work, and manufacturer campaigns to Kia standards.
Utilise Kia diagnostic equipment and technical information systems to resolve complex vehicle concerns.
Carry out repairs on hybrid, electric, and advanced vehicle technologies.
Conduct detailed vehicle inspections and provide accurate repair recommendations.
Ensure all repairs are completed safely, efficiently,



and right the first time.
Maintain accurate repair orders, inspection reports, and technical documentation.
Mentor and support apprentices and junior technicians.
Contribute to workshop productivity while maintaining high quality and safety standards.
Maintain a clean, organised, and skilled workshop environment.
What You'll Bring
Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent).
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills across modern vehicle systems.
Experience working with mechanical, electrical, and electronic automotive technologies.
Current Australian Driver's Licence.
Strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Highly Regarded
Kia technical training and product knowledge.
Experience working with hybrid and electric vehicle systems.
Experience using manufacturer diagnostic platforms and workshop systems.
Previous mentoring, leadership, or workshop coaching experience.
