We're looking for a passionate and customer-focused Interior Designer to join our team and guide clients through one of the most exciting stages of their building journey.

About the Role
As our Harmony Gallery Interior Designer, you'll work closely with clients to help them select internal and external finishes, colours and products that suit their lifestyle, budget and design aspirations.
This role combines interior design expertise, customer service excellence and meticulous documentation management to ensure selections are accurately captured and smoothly transitioned through estimating, drafting and construction.
You will play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience while contributing to the successful delivery of quality homes.
Key Responsibilities
Client Consultations & Design Guidance
Conduct Harmony Gallery appointments with new home clients.
Guide customers through colour, fixture, finish and material selections.
Provide expert recommendations on current design trends and product options.
Assist clients in making confident decisions that align with their vision and budget.
Clearly communicate standard inclusions, upgrades and available selections.
Documentation & Administration




Prepare accurate colour selection schedules and variation documentation.
Record client selections within business systems.
Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate and issued within required timeframes.
Review information thoroughly to minimise errors and rework.
Product & Supplier Engagement
Maintain knowledge of product ranges, specifications and supplier offerings.
Stay informed of industry trends, new products and design innovations.
Liaise with suppliers regarding product availability and technical information.
Coordinate reselection appointments when required.
Harmony Gallery Management
Maintain a professional, welcoming and inspiring showroom environment.
Ensure displays, samples and resources remain current and well presented.
Support continuous improvement of the Harmony Gallery experience.
Team Collaboration
Work closely with our Sales, Estimating, Drafting, Procurement, Customer Service and Construction teams.
Contribute to process improvements and business initiatives.
Help facilitate a seamless transition from selections through to construction.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Essential Skills & Experience
Qualification in Interior Design, Interior Decoration, Building Design or a related field.
Minimum 2 years' experience in residential interior design, colour consulting or a similar role.




Experience within the residential construction or building industry.
Strong knowledge of colour coordination, finishes and material selections.
Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Current Australian Driver's Licence.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business software systems.
Highly Regarded
Experience working with a residential home builder.
Experience using Framework or similar construction management software.
Understanding of residential construction processes and workflows.
Existing industry supplier relationships.
