We are looking for anexperienced Snr HR / OHS Coordinator to join ourteam at our Bundall Head Office.
This is a true HR Generalist / HR partner role. You will be managing the employee experience from recruitment and onboarding, through to offboarding. Reporting to the COO, you will be supporting business success and an engaged culture.
How You'll Make a Difference
You willtake ownership with the following functions:
Human Resources
Provide guidance and support for Managers in effective people management practices
Provide timely and accurate advice on People and Culture related matters
Be a confidential sounding board to staff on HR and OHS related matters and provide support to Managers and Team Leaders
Support Managers and Team Leaders through the performance review and development cycle, including Performance Improvement Plans
Ensure compliance with relevant licenses, certificates and qualifications
Learning, Development and Performance:
Oversee our highly well-regarded apprenticeship program
Support Managers and Team Leaders in the execution of induction and training, build organisational capability; ensure all Mandatory/Compliance training is completed
Recruitment:
Review and update Position Descriptions where necessary
Lead the recruitment process including job advertisements, participating in interviews, ensuring the hiring of suitable and capable talent to meet role, function and business requirements
Arrange and complete reference checks, Letters of Engagement and Employment Agreements
Policies, Processes and Procedures:
Ensure Company Induction and policies are kept up to date
Ensure timely rollout and education of current and updated Policies and procedures
Ensure employee remuneration is paid in accordance with the Terms and Conditions of Employment Agreements and are compliant with appropriate Modern Award,



Enterprise Bargaining Agreement and the Fair Work Act
Advise and support Managers on all employment relations matters, managing grievance and misconduct claims in accordance with Company Policy, including end to end investigations, and liaise with external advisors (where necessary)
OHS
Manage the administration of any Workers' Compensation claims and Return to Work Coordination for any staff returning after extended leave
Manage safety training and Inductions as well as all relevant Certification and Licensing requirements in accordance with relevant legislation
Report on relevant WHS metrics, recommendations and opportunities
Provide advice on Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS)
Develop and maintain safety reporting tools and registers
Other
Fleet management through our cloud systems
Review timesheets and payroll for accuracy and compliance to Fair Work and Awards
About You:
Relevant HR and OHS experience to quickly and confidently build upon an existing People & Culture framework and take initiative in delivering P&C; solutions.
High emotional intelligence, integrity, and commercial maturity.
Strong communications skills and a passion for people – adept at managing both up and down to problem solve across a business.
Contemporary technology experience, managing the HR platforms (intelliHR) and other related systems to extract maximum benefit from data sets.
