F&H; Industries is seeking a dedicated and skilled
3/4th Year Apprentice Maintenance Plumber
to join our team in Melbourne VIC ****. This is a full-time position that offers an excellent opportunity to develop your plumbing expertise within a professional and supportive environment. As a 3/4th year apprentice, you will be working towards completing your apprenticeship whilst gaining practical experience in maintenance plumbing across a variety of commercial and residential projects. This role is essential to our operations, providing you with the foundation to become a qualified and competent tradesperson in the plumbing industry.
What you'll be doing
Assisting experienced plumbers with the installation, repair and maintenance of plumbing systems in commercial and residential properties
Conducting routine maintenance inspections and identifying potential plumbing issues before they become major problems
Performing pipe fitting, soldering and joining work under supervision
Installing and repairing taps, toilets, showers, baths and other plumbing fixtures
Undertaking drainage work, including clearing blockages and repairing damaged pipes
Maintaining accurate records of work completed and materials used
Ensuring all work complies with relevant plumbing codes and health and safety regulations
Assisting with emergency callouts and reactive maintenance when required
Supporting senior plumbers and contributing to a team-oriented team environment
What we're looking for
Currently enrolled in or progressing through a recognised plumbing apprenticeship programme, in your 3rd or 4th year of training
Strong practical plumbing skills with demonstrated competency in key maintenance plumbing tasks
A solid understanding of plumbing theory, building codes and safety regulations




Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
Good communication skills and a professional approach to customer interactions
Physical fitness and capability to work in various environments and conditions
Valid driver's licence and reliable access to transport
A genuine commitment to completing your apprenticeship and pursuing a career in plumbing
Previous experience in maintenance plumbing roles or on-site plumbing work is desirable
