Print Machinist - Flexographic Label Printer
QLM LABEL MAKERS is seeking a skilled and experiencedPrint Machinist - Flexographic Label Printerto join our production team.
This is afull-time positionbased in our state of the art air conditioned facility atBerrinba, Brisbane, QLD ****.
As a Print Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining flexographic printing equipment to produce high-quality labels for our diverse client base.
This role is central to our operations, ensuring that we deliver exceptional print quality whilst maintaining efficient production schedules and meeting strict deadlines.
Key responsibilities
Set up and operate flexographic printing presses safely and efficiently, following standard operating procedures and quality guidelines
Monitor print quality throughout production runs, making adjustments as necessary to ensure consistency and accuracy
Troubleshoot and resolve any printing issues that may arise on press
Work collaboratively with the production team to meet daily targets and deadlines
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of printing equipment to keep machinery in optimal working condition
Adhere to all workplace health and safety requirements and maintain a clean, organised work environment
What we're looking for
Minimum 2 years' experience operating flexographic printing presses in a label printing environment
Strong technical and mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate complex printing machinery
Demonstrated ability to read and interpret print specifications, artwork files, and production documentation




Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high‐quality output
Ability to work efficiently in a fast‐paced production environment and meet strict deadlines
Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues
A genuine commitment to health and safety practices in the workplace
