This very busy Cleansing Team works hard to keep our city's roads, paths and lane ways clean.
We require a self-motivated person who takes pride in their work to join this very busy team.
Your duties will include:
Undertaking street cleaning
Carrying out routine cleaning and litter collection in such areas as amenities, footpaths, roads, shopping centres, pits and car parks
Operate minor plant including high pressure hoses and blowers
Carrying out inspections of facilities and reporting on maintenance and equipment issues.
Rubbish removal
Adhoc street cleansing duties: sweeping, general clean up
Essential requirements:




MR OR HR Licence essential
Experience driving a compactor.
White Card essential
Steel toe cap boots essential
High visibility shirt or vest essential
Experience within open space teams an advantage
Ability to work without supervision
Previous experience in a similar role an advantage
COVID-19 Vaccination certification: The successful candidate for this position will be required to provide evidence of their double vaccination status, or a valid medical contraindication certificate, prior to the department finalising the appointment of the candidate.
