Holroyd Private Hospital is a well-established 48-bed Surgical, Medical, and Rehabilitation facility located in Guildford.

About the Role
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivatedScrub Scout Nurseto join our perioperative team on a permanent part-time basis.
This role will involve working closely with surgeons, anaesthetists, and the wider perioperative team to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality surgical care.
Hours
Scrub Scout Nurse: 16 hours per fortnight
Key Responsibilities
Deliver safe and high-quality care within the operating theatre environment
Perform the scrub/scout role across a range of surgical procedures
Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anaesthetists, and perioperative teams




Maintain strict adherence to infection control and sterile technique
Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Uphold excellence in patient safety and clinical standards
Contribute to a positive and supportive team culture
Qualifications
Current registration with AHPRA
Minimum 2 years' experience as a Scrub Scout Nurse
Demonstrated experience in: Laparoscopic procedures
Ophthalmology (eye surgery)
Robust clinical skills and commitment to patient-centred care
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Experience in the private hospital sector is highly desirable.
