About the role
The City of Sydney has an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced and motivated professional to join our Health and Building Team, overseeing health inspections, environmental complaints, pest control, construction and building compliance, licensed premises and fire safety.
You'll lead a diverse team of professionals to deliver our policies and legislative responsibilities for health and building functions servicing one of the five geographic areas. We're looking for someone with:
experience in working in at least one discipline within a Health and Building regulatory and compliance environment
experience in managing a team in a complex environment.
This role has the option of a rostered day off each month, known as a 19-day month.
The recommended applicant must complete a pre-employment health declaration and criminal history check.
