Experienced Employment Lawyer sought to join our Brisbane based firm.
Be exposed to exciting work with Government employees and private employment clients.
The ideal candidate will have 1-7 years post admission experience or a relevant background in employment law.
They will also be a talented communicator, with proven experience to allow them to work autonomously to communicate with new clients, manage existing files and advise senior managers on the appropriate way in which to manage their matters.
Must hold current practising certificate and be admitted to practice in Queensland (or eligible for admission)
As a capable Solicitor, you will be expected to work autonomously, abide by deadlines, and propose sensible and ethical solutions to problems.
It is expected that the ideal candidate will have robust advocacy skills, superior knowledge and research skills, and a keen interest in expanding their knowledge.
Proficiency in legal research databases (such as Westlaw or LexisNexis) and case management software
Tribunal or Court appearance experience preferred but not essential - training will be provided
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work across a broad range of employment law matters.
The position will report to an experienced manager.
Salary will be considered based on skills and experience.
