DIESEL MECHANIC - DAF TRUCK SPECIALIST
DAF trucks fixed by people who actually understand DAF trucks.
At Euro Truck Property Holdings Pty Ltd, we do things differently.
We're a specialist workshop that works on DAF trucks only. No Kenworths. No Freightliners. No jumping between ten different makes and trying to remember where every manufacturer hides their faults.
Just DAF.
We've spent over 25 years specialising in DAF trucks and have built a reputation across Australia as the workshop people call when they're stuck.
We're a small team, but we're responsible about what we do. Our workshop is equipped with modern equipment including an overhead crane, brake roller testers, pneumatic test bench, A/C service equipment, DAVIE diagnostics and the specialist tooling required to tackle major repairs.
We don't just change parts. We diagnose faults, solve problems and fix trucks properly.
We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Laverton North.
What you'll be working on
:
General servicing & maintenance
Brakes & suspension
Diagnostics & fault finding
Gearboxes & drivelines
Pneumatic systems
Electrical repairs
Engine repairs
We're looking for someone who
:
Is a qualified diesel mechanic, holding a relevant mechanical trade qualification such as Diesel Mechanic or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic




Has a minimum of 5 years' experience as a Diesel Mechanic
Can work independently without someone looking over their shoulder
Takes pride in doing the job properly
Has good diagnostic skills or wants to develop them
Isn't afraid of a challenge
Wants to learn more than just servicing trucks
What's on offer
:
Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm
Overtime available from time to time
$2,000 sign-on bonus after 6 months
Off-site training opportunities for the right person
Workshop shutdown over Christmas and New Year
Truck licence preferred but not essential
Forklift licence preferred but not essential
A salary of $80,000 - $100,000 will be offered to the successful candidate.
Not for everyone
This isn't a workshop where you'll spend all day doing services and go home on autopilot.
We're busy, priorities change, breakdowns happen, and some days are flat-out. Things can get heated from time to time when the pressure is on, but we get the job done and move on.
If you need someone standing over your shoulder or you fall apart when things get busy, this probably isn't the place for you.
If you enjoy solving problems, working with a good crew and getting stuck into real truck repairs, you'll fit right in.
