About theDepartment / Program
MonashChildren's Cancer Centre (MCCC) provides comprehensive and multidisciplinarycare to children and young people diagnosed with a wide range of oncologicaland serious haematological conditions across inpatient, outpatient andlong-term follow-up settings.
About theRole
Join ourteam as a Grade 3 Neuropsychologist on a fixed term part-time role (multiplepositions available) to work at Monash Children's Hospital based atClayton. In this role, you will:




Deliver advanced paediatricneuropsychological assessment across the cancer care continuum, includingbaseline, post-treatment and longitudinal follow-up
Provide clear, timelyneuropsychological reports and feedback to families, clinicians, schoolsand external agencies
Develop and implementevidence-based, individualised interventions addressing cognition,learning, behaviour, fatigue and emotional wellbeing associated withcancer and caner related treatments
Support school re-entry, familyengagement, discharge planning and referral to ongoing neuropsychologicalsupports including NDIS and disability inclusion, as appropriate
Engage in research
Contribute to specialistconsultation, supervision, education, and service development activities
You will beguided under the leadership of Monash Health Psychology, Medical Director ofthe MCCC, Nurse Unit Manager MCC and will create strong relationships with thebroader MCCC Allied Health team.
About You
To besuccessful in this role, you will bring the following demonstrated skills,experience, and attributes:
Mandatoryrequirements of the role - qualifications, licences, memberships,
Experience in or a stronginterest in pursuing a career in paediatric oncology and haematologyor experience working with young people with serious health/medicalconditions and diagnoses
You hold endorsement in ClinicalNeuropsychology and have a minimum 5 years' experience working as aregistered psychologist at Grade 2 level (or equivalent)
You are a board approvedsupervisor with the Psychology Board of Australia or would be eligible toundergo the appropriate training within 6 months of commencing the role
You are a collaborative teamplayer who values partnership,
