An opportunity to join a well-regarded corporate law firm in Sydney's CBD, who are seeking an experienced property lawyer to join their reputable and close-knit property team.
This is a genuinely compelling opportunity for a property lawyer looking to step out of a larger firm workplace and into a role offering real autonomy, direct client contact, and a diverse and interesting workload (without sacrificing the quality of work).
The successful candidate will have genuine ownership of their own files from day one, with meaningful client involvement and the support of a highly experienced supervising lawyer.
The work spans a broad range of commercial property matters, including:
Commercial transactions, acquisitions and disposals for real estate investment trusts, listed companies, land-rich private corporations and joint venture partners, across CBD office buildings, retail centres, industrial office parks and development sites
Corporate M&A; support on the property aspects of transactions
General property advisory and legislative compliance




Leasing matters acting for both landlords and tenants, including complex development leasing, asset and portfolio leasing for commercial, industrial and retail properties.
Finance matters acting for bespoke lenders
About you:
4+ years' post-qualification experience in diverse property law matters (finance experience highly regarded but not essential)
Australian qualified with good academic achievement, coming from a recognised property team/law firm.
The ability to work autonomously, within a small, close-knit team.
