Operations Manager
Resilient Life Care | Melbourne (Hybrid) | Full-time, Permanent
Competitive salary + benefits, based on experience
Resilient Life Care is a family-run, fast-growing NDIS provider delivering core supports to participants across Victoria and Queensland. We're proud of the personal, high-quality care that comes from being a close-knit team and we're now expanding into aged care as our next chapter of growth.
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager who can take genuine ownership of day-to-day operations, strengthen our systems, and free up leadership to focus on strategy and growth while our participants and staff continue to get the consistency and care they rely on. Candidates with a clinical background, such as a Registered Nurse, are especially encouraged to apply.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Director, you'll be the operational backbone of Resilient Life Care. You'll oversee our two Supervisors, in-house Team Leaders, our bookkeeper, and our intake/compliance officer, bringing structure, accountability, and momentum to a growing organisation. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives on turning a busy, high-growth small business into a well-run, scalable operation.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day operations across our Victoria and Queensland services, ensuring consistent, high-quality service delivery
Lead, support and develop the Supervisors and Team Leaders, building a strong performance and accountability culture
Partner with our intake/compliance officer to ensure NDIS Practice Standards, quality and safeguarding obligations are consistently met
Work closely with our bookkeeper on rostering efficiency, budgets, and operational cost control
Design and embed scalable systems, policies and processes that support sustainable growth
Lead operational readiness for our expansion into aged care,

including compliance, workforce planning and service setup
Monitor participant outcomes, incident reporting and complaints, driving continuous improvement
Act as the Director's right hand, owning operational decisions and escalating only what truly needs the Director's attention
Support recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning as the team continues to grow
Provide clinical oversight and guidance where required, supporting safe, high-quality support delivery for participants with complex needs
About You
Proven experience in an Operations Manager or senior operational leadership role within NDIS, disability, aged care or community/health services (essential)
A clinical background, such as a Registered Nurse qualification, is highly regarded and will be strongly favoured
Solid understanding of the NDIS Practice Standards and quality/compliance requirements (aged care compliance knowledge highly regarded)
A confident, hands-on leader who can manage and mentor supervisors and team leaders
Excellent organisational skills with a track record of building systems and processes in a growing business
Comfortable working across multiple states and coordinating remote and on-the-ground teams
Financially literate, with experience overseeing budgets, rostering and cost efficiency
A proactive problem-solver who takes ownership rather than waiting to be asked
Genuine alignment with our family-run, person-centred approach to care
Why Join Resilient Life Care
Genuine influence, shape how a growing company operates, not just maintain the status quo
Direct access to and support from the Director, with real autonomy in your remit
Be part of an exciting expansion into aged care from the ground floor
A close, family-run culture that values its people as much as its participants
Hybrid working arrangements based from our Melbourne office
