Huntingdale Golf Club, located in the heart of Melbourne's sandbelt region is one of Australia's premier golf courses. The Club is seeking to employ an apprentice groundsperson to join the golf course maintenance team. Applicants that have started their apprenticeship and applicants that are new to the programme and interested in a career in golf course maintenance are welcome to apply.
Applicants must have a keen interest in turf management, horticulture, machinery and be self-motivated whilst working in a team environment. This position is suited to someone with a strong work ethic, an eye for detail, a strong desire to succeed and must be a team orientated individual.
With the recently completing a full course redevelopment with architects OCM,



a fantastic opportunity presents itself to the successful applicant to be a part of historical changes at Huntingdale Golf Club.
The successful applicant will ideally have:
previous experience operating ground maintenance machinery;
understanding of OH&S; and environmental requirements of a golf course;
solid work ethic
Above award wages, full training, access to further training and development, staff meals, full uniform and safety equipment provided. The position requires seasonal, overtime and weekend work based on the business needs.
