QLS has a permanent full time opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Officer to join the Finance team. Our Finance team supports the organisation by providing accurate, efficient and customer-focused services across financial management, compliance and reporting. The purpose of the Accounts Receivable Officer is to provide high-quality accounts receivable support, including invoicing, receipting, debtor management, account reconciliations and customer account services, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and excellent customer outcomes.
In this role you will:
Process customer payments and ensure receipts are allocated accurately to customer accounts.
Prepare and issue invoices, working with internal teams to resolve billing enquiries.
Monitor outstanding accounts and follow up overdue payments in a professional and timely manner.
Provide excellent customer service by responding to enquiries about payments, invoices and account balances.
Maintain accurate financial records, support compliance requirements, and contribute to improving team processes and procedures.
Ideally you will have the following:
Experience in accounts receivable, finance administration, or a similar role.
A good understanding of invoicing, payment processing, account reconciliations and debtor management.
Strong attention to detail,
with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Well-developed problem-solving skills and the ability to confidently resolve payment issues and respond to customer enquiries.
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills and experience using financial or accounting systems.
Qualifications in accounting, bookkeeping or a related field will be highly regarded but are not essential.
