What's The Role:
We're looking for a trade-qualified and experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanics to join our high-performing team at our Derrimut workshop in Melbourne.
Working Monday to Friday, you'll maintain a modern fleet using state-of-the-art equipment and the latest diagnostic technology. We offer two permanent shifts to suit your lifestyle:
Morning Shift:
5:30am start
Afternoon Shift:
1.00pm start (shift allowance applies)

What You'll Do:
Reliability is the cornerstone in transport, you will be an essential part ensuring our fleet is maintained tothe highest level:
Vehicle maintenance and repair – repairing, replacing and diagnosing issues across a variety of fleet vehicles (prime movers, rigids and trailers)
Perform major repairs including midlife's and brake/bearing overhauls and servicing
Demonstrating safe work practices, leading by example and promoting a safe work culture
Accurately completing maintenance and repair documentation.
What You'll Bring:
Mechanical Trade qualification
Proven competence in repairs and overhauls
Experience working on prime movers or heavy vehicle trailers is highly valued
Effective diagnostic skills on Kenworth, DAF, Cummins, BPW
Basic computer skills
Clear and concise communication skills
Motivated, reliable and a good work ethic
Candidates must have valid and current Australian working rights to be considered for this position.
