We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Labourer - Truck Loader to join our clients shopfitting team. As a part of our dynamic and diverse workforce, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe loading and unloading of trucks with joinery materials, assisting in various general warehouse tasks. You'll work alongside experienced Cabinet Makers and Shopfitters to produce high-quality joinery and fittings to exact specifications for their high end retail and commercial clients.
Responsibilities
Safely and efficiently load and unload trucks with joinery materials in compliance with company protocols.
Assist with handling and moving heavy loads, utilizing appropriate lifting techniques and equipment.
Coordinate with team members to ensure timely dispatch and receipt of shipments.
Perform general warehouse labouring duties, such as sorting, packing, and organizing inventory.
Maintain a clean and safe work area, following all health and safety guidelines.
Support joinery trade tasks as required, working alongside skilled tradespersons.
Communicate effectively with team members and contribute to a collaborative team environment.




Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred, but not essential.
Ability to perform physical tasks, including heavy lifting, for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions meticulously.
Good communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
Commitment to workplace safety and ability to adhere to safety regulations.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and systems.
Reliable and punctual, with a solid work ethic and positive attitude.
Open to diverse candidates, including individuals from underrepresented groups and those with disabilities.
Applicants with a valid HR Licence and willingness to complete deliveries including interstate runs will be highly regarded!!!
