General Manager, Enterprise AI Office

As our inaugural General Manager, Enterprise AI Office, you will establish and lead UnitingCare's enterprise AI function, driving innovation, responsible adoption and strategic investment in AI. You will play a pivotal role in transforming how we work, empowering our workforce and delivering measurable value for the communities we serve. Your part in our UnitingCare team: Provide enterprise-wide leadership for innovation, artificial intelligence, value realisation and emerging technology opportunities across UnitingCare. Develop and execute UnitingCare's enterprise innovation and artificial intelligence strategy aligned to organisational priorities, service delivery objectives and long-term sustainability. Establish responsible AI governance, frameworks, policies and assurance arrangements that support safe, ethical and sustainable adoption. Lead enterprise approaches to AI investment, portfolio prioritisation, experimentation, pilots, proofs of value and measurable value realisation. Build strategic partnerships with technology providers, research institutions, industry bodies and external collaborators to accelerate organisational innovation capability. Influence senior leaders across health, community and aged care services to strengthen capability, adoption and confidence in innovation and responsible AI.
Requirements
Executive or senior leadership experience in innovation, artificial intelligence, digital transformation, emerging technology or enterprise portfolio/ value realisation environments.
Demonstrated ability to shape strategy, influence investment decisions and deliver measurable organisational value through innovation, AI or technology-enabled transformation.
Strong governance capability, including the ability to balance opportunity, risk, ethics, assurance and responsible adoption in a complex operating environment.
Proven ability to influence executive stakeholders,
Boards or senior decision-makers and bring diverse business units on a transformation journey.
Experience building external partnerships and leveraging ecosystems to access emerging capability, funding pathways, expertise and innovation outcomes.
Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policy, including Nationally Coordinated Police Check, Right to Work in Australia and Insolvency Check. Additional checks may apply depending on final role requirements.
