Exciting opportunity to be a part of the West Moreton Rural Health Service!
We are seeking Senior Medical Officers to join our vibrant rural health teams at Boonah, Laidley, Esk and Gatton. As a senior rural generalist, you will provide high quality inpatient and emergency care, working with a broad scope of practice and a high level of clinical autonomy. This role offers professional challenge, variety, and the chance to make a real impact in rural communities, supported by strong clinical leadership and collegial teams.

We are seeking Senior Medical Officers to join our vibrant rural health teams at Boonah, Laidley, Esk and Gatton. As a senior rural generalist, you will provide high quality inpatient and emergency care, working with a broad scope of practice and a high level of clinical autonomy. This role offers professional challenge, variety, and the opportunity to make a real impact in rural communities, supported by strong clinical leadership and collegial teams. Permanent, Temporary and Casual opportunities are available.

What we're looking for
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
Passion for providing excellent clinical care to their community as a Rural Medical Officer
Experience in delivering quality care to inpatients, outpatients,



Emergency Department clients across a variety of acuity and care needs.
Knowledge and practical application of the National Quality & Safety Standards through the delivery of Protected and Quality focussed Patient centred care.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills across a variety of settings including in an emergency
Mandatory Requirements
Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. *****
Possession of a medical degree registered or eligible for general registration with AHPRA.
Possession of Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) +/- FARGP or Fellowship with the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM) will be highly regarded.
