What You'll Be Doing
Observing court-ordered contact visits between children and their parents at home or in the community
Maintaining a
safe, neutral, and child-focused environment
Managing complex and sometimes challenging behaviours with professionalism
Writing
clear, factual, court-quality reports after every visit
Accurately documenting observations without bias
What We Need From You
We are looking for individuals who are:
Mature, empathetic, and emotionally intelligent
Strong communicators:
clear, calm, and professional at all times
Highly reliable
and able to follow structured processes
Confident in managing difficult situations and setting boundaries
Skilled in writing

punctual, and consistent
Mandatory Requirements (Please Do Not Apply If You Do Not Meet These Criteria!)
MUST be available EVERY weekend
MUST be available weekdays after 3:00pm
MUST commit to work a Minimum of 25 hours per week
MUST complete reports after each contact session (no exceptions)
Qualification or current study in:
Social Work
Community Services
Childcare / Early Childhood
Or other child-related field
Valid and Clear Working With Children Check (WWCC)
Current and Clear Police Check
First Aid Certificate
Full driver's licence with a clean driving record
Reliable vehicle and willingness to travel to client locations across Sydney
Reliable computer + phone and access to the internet
DO NOT APPLY if you do not like writing and your English is poor, as you will have to complete lengthy professional reports after every session.
It's NOT "I'll try it and see" position
