We have eight aged care villages across NSW and SA, including five within the Sydney Metro area one in Griffith in regional NSW and two in South Australia as well as our Home Care program, Live Easy
We are seeking a number of experienced Carers with a Certificate III in Aged Care to undertake the role of a Carer at The Villageon a casualbasis.
To be successful in this role, you will be available to work at least three weekdays and be willing to work night shifts.
The role entails providing care to residents as a member of the care team under the supervision of the Registered Nurse to provide person centred care which includes:
Empowering our residents to ensure their choices and preferences are met,



including serving food and feeding residents when required
Assisting residents with their daily care needs
Assisting residents to participate in activities
You will bring:
A caring and patient outlook and enjoy making a positive impact to our residents everyday lives.
A Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent
Demonstrated experience in an aged care or community health setting and an understanding of issues relating to dementia care
Previous working knowledge of the aged care industry and person-centred care
Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to build and maintain trusted relationships
Confidence working in a flexible team environment
Well-developed communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to speak other languages (desirable but not essential)
