Internal Sales Representative - Access Rental

We are looking for a motivated Internal Sales professional to join our Sunshine West team and help deliver the exceptional service United is known for. In this role, you will be a key support across the rental department, managing customer enquiries while building strong client relationships and identifying opportunities to generate both casual and long-term rental business.
You will work closely with the Rental Team to coordinate equipment hire, ensuring all customer needs are met through effective planning, communication, and follow-up. This role combines customer interaction, sales generation, and administration in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on maintaining existing accounts while developing new opportunities. For the right person, there is genuine potential to progress into a Business Development Manager (BDM) role, making this a great opportunity to grow your career with a national leader in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage incoming hire enquiries and generate accurate documentation




Maintain robust relationships with customers and provide timely follow-ups
Analyse customer data to support decision-making and identify new opportunities
Support business development by researching and engaging potential clients
Ensure accurate reporting, record-keeping, and general administrative tasks
Work closely with internal teams, including BDMs and transport providers, to meet customer expectations
Adhere to company policies and contribute to continuous improvement across hire operations
To Succeed in This Role:
Professional presentation and strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to build relationships and liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels
Strong organisational and planning skills with excellent attention to detail
Good computer literacy and administrative capability
Understanding of products and ability to communicate value to customers
Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach
