experienced Abrasive Blaster/Industrial Spray Painter
to join our hardworking and dynamic team.
About the Role
We're looking for someone confident and competent in all aspects of
industrial abrasive blasting and spray painting
, with a strong focus on quality and efficiency. You'll be working on a variety of steel structures, components, and equipment in both our
in-house workshop
and
on-site
as required.
Key Responsibilities
Perform abrasive blasting on steel, concrete, and other surfaces in line with project specifications and Australian Standards
Perform industrial spray painting using airless, conventional, and HVLP spray systems
Mix and apply different coating systems as per specifications (including epoxy, polyurethane,



zinc-rich primers, Intumescent etc.)
Operate blasting equipment, compressors, reclaim units, and associated machinery safely and efficiently
Prepare surfaces through masking, plugging, cleaning, and staging prior to blasting
Maintain blasting booth cleanliness and ensure media is managed correctly
Complete daily job sheets and QA checklists accurately
Maintain equipment and follow strict safety procedures
What We're Looking For
Proven experience as an industrial painter and abrasive blaster (min. 2 years preferred)
Ability to read and follow paint specifications and job instructions
Knowledge of safety procedures and PPE use (especially around hazardous coatings)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality finishes
Forklift or EWP licence (advantageous)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
