This is a role for someone who loves being in the middle of the action.
We're looking for a hands on leader who thrives in rapid paced venues, leads from the front, and knows how to bring energy, standards, and culture together in one shift.
At The Sporting Globe, game days are big, nights are loud, and no two shifts are ever the same. You'll oversee a high volume venue with sport, functions, late night trade, TAB, food, drinks, and a young, energetic team that values leaders who lead from the front.
What the role looks like:
Leading service from the floor and supporting the team during busy shifts
Coaching and motivating team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences
Upholding venue standards, compliance and daily operations
Supporting opening, closing and cash management procedures
Managing functions and large event trade
Resolving guest concerns and service challenges with confidence
Jumping in wherever needed, from running food and drinks to changing kegs
Current RSA certification is required for this position
What we're looking for:




Hospitality leadership experience in a fast-paced pub, bar or restaurant
Previous experience as a Supervisor, Team Leader or Duty Manager is highly regarded
A confident leader who enjoys developing people
Strong communication skills and a visible presence on the floor
The ability to stay calm under pressure and make good decisions
Someone who takes pride in high standards and attention to detail
Availability across nights, weekends and public holidays
