Reporting to the Head of People, the HR Advisor plays a pivotal role in delivering end-to-end HR operations across the organisation. As a primary point of contact for prospective and current staff, you will drive core HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, internal communications, and employee administration, with ongoing strategic support from the Head of People and the broader HR team. You will also collaborate closely with the Head of Impact Programs to support the seamless delivery of our Youth Employment Program.
A key focus of this role is leading the operational relationship with our major labour-hire partner, Lime Micro-mobility. You will manage the day-to-day contract, end-to-end across recruitment, contract administration, employee relations, learning and development, and manager support. This component offers exciting hands‐on partner management, with occasional interstate travel required (typically one to two days per month) to build strong connections across sites.
Role Requirements and Objectives
People & Culture operations are undertaken
Lead and coordinate end to end recruitment processes, including job design, selection offers of employment, and manager coaching on recruitment strategies
Oversee onboarding and probation tracking to ensure full compliance with relevant legislative frameworks and employment frameworks
Comply with Workplace Health and Safety policies to maintain a safe work environment
Respond to staff enquiries regarding terms, award entitlements, allowances, and leave accruals.
Prepare operational reports to ensure all entitlements and requirements are correctly met.
Review, develop and implement P&C; policies and procedures to drive continuous systems improvement,
Employee Relations
Work with HR team to ensure any changes in industrial relations or employment law are implemented
Act as the primary contact for workplace investigations and performance management, with support from the wider HR team
Coach line managers to effectively lead their teams in alignment with legislation, policies, and organisational values.
Client relationship maintained and fostered
Build and maintain strong working relationships with key client stakeholders to meet or exceed expectations
Be the face of Good Cycles for all Good Cycles staff in the Lime team
Visit client sites (local and interstate) at appropriate intervals
Foster engagement with the Youth Employment Program
Align organisational policies, procedures and values with client requirements
Learning and Development
Ensure in-house employee training programs and systems are completed
Collaborate with managers to identify staff learning & development needs and recommend targeted outcomes

Selection Criteria
5+ years of Human Resources experience
Demonstrated experience in determining and delivering outcomes for a commercial client
Demonstrated experience as HR/P&C; Advisor in the delivery of the Human Resources functions such as recruitment & selection, people operations, HR Systems, learning & development and employee relations (or equivalent)
An understanding of employment legislation and remuneration frameworks (preferable)
Possess excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated experience in liaising with staff at all levels, and other third parties, negotiating effective outcomes, consultation and facilitation of group or individual discussions
Experience in labour hire, recruitment and/or account management highly regarded
