Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced Electronic Medical Records(EMR) Analysts to join the EMR Team for a six-month long service leave cover position within Digital Health at Northern Health.
Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne's rapidly growing outer north.
Services are provided through our six main campuses:
Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn and Mernda Community Hospitals Centres and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park, Mernda and Coburg.
About the Role:
The EMR Analyst willbe responsible forthe analysis,design,build, configuration,testingand conversion of the EMR at Northern Health.
The EMR Analyst is responsible for the review of existing workflows,
content and configuration to contribute to the optimisation of current workflows and the design of new workflows from a clinical perspective.
The EMR Analyst willbe requiredto havea good levelof knowledge for each of the following EMR applications:
Care Delivery
Core and Patient Movement
Orders and Results
EmergencyFirstnet
Medications
Maternity
Technical Device
The EMR Analystis required tohave strong clinical workflow knowledge and possessbusiness analytic skills.
The EMR Analyst will have the ability to work autonomously and analyse clinical workflows, collect and review data in the data collection workbooks.
The EMR Analyst will work collaboratively with the EMR team, service departments and clinical staff for all EMR related matters.
