About the role
As Transport Officer, your role is to provide professional, courteous, and safe transportation and medical courier services for IUIH and IUIH clients as required.
Your day to day duties may include:
Provide clients with respectful and courteous transport services.
Timely pick up and transporting of clients from and to home, as well as in line with client requirements, i.e. other medical and health appointments, as scheduled.
Ad hoc pick up of clients as requested.
Maintain a log/record of all journeys/pick ups.




Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of vehicles and working in collaboration with the Office Manager to ensure maintenance of vehicles and reporting of any damage to vehicles.

Current C Class Drivers Licence (QLD)
Current Criminal History Check
Current Working with Children Check - QLD Blue Card (Prior to Commencement)
Current Disability Workers Screening Check - Yellow Card (Prior to commencement)
Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
Desirable, but not mandatory:
Demonstrated experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and /or communities.
