We are looking for a friendly, organised, and proactive Administration Assistant to support the daily operations across our group of eight companies. This is a varied role that combines administration, reception, human resources support, and accounts administration, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and being an integral part of a busy office.
We are open to both part time and full-time applicants for the right candidate.
About the Role
Working closely with management and the wider team, your responsibilities will include:
Providing general administrative support across the group of companies
Managing reception duties, including answering phones, greeting visitors, and handling incoming enquiries
Coordinating calendars, meetings, travel, and office resources
Preparing correspondence, reports, and business documentation
Maintaining electronic and hard-copy filing systems
Assisting with recruitment administration, onboarding, employee records, and general HR support
Supporting payroll administration and maintaining confidential personnel documentation
Processing invoices, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations
Using Xero for day-to-day accounts administration
Liaising with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders
Providing support across a range of business projects and day-to-day operations
About You
You will be someone who enjoys working across multiple areas of a business and takes pride in being organised, approachable, and reliable.
You'll ideally have:
Previous experience in an administration or office support role
Experience in reception or customer service
Working knowledge of Xero and basic accounts processes
HR administration experience or an interest in supporting people and recruitment functions
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel
The ability to manage competing priorities and work both independently and as part of a team
A positive, professional, and can-do attitude
