Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Manufacturing Industrial Sewer (Entry-Level & Experienced)
We are seeking both entry-level and experienced Manufacturing Industrial Sewer to join our production team creating high-performance thermal fabric covers. In this role, you will operate industrial sewing machines to assemble durable, heat-resistant insulation jackets, thermal blankets, protective covers and Expansion Joints.
Monday-Thursday, 06:30 am - 04:30 pm
The hourly range for this full-time position (although we are open to casual or part time) is $***** + benefits (depending on experience)
This is very much a key hands-on role which involves:
Basic Assembly: Stitch straight lines, hems, and simple joints on heavy-duty industrial sewing machines.




Material Prep: Cut, bundle, and organize thermal fabrics, fiberglass materials, and hook-and-loop fasteners.
Quality Checks: Inspect finished items for skipped stitches, uneven seams, or loose threads.
Machine Care: Clean lint from machines daily, oil moving parts, and report mechanical issues.
Construction: Assemble multi-layered thermal covers with curves, flaps, and integrated hardware.
Technical Reading: Interpret works orders, technical drawings, and precise measurement specifications.
Component Installation: Attach specialized hardware like heavy-duty hooks, buckles, drawstrings, and straps.
Job Requirements
Basic Skills: Strong hand-eye coordination, steady hands, and excellent attention to detail.
Physical Stamina: Ability to sit or stand for periods of time and handle heavy textile rolls.
Trainability: Willingness to learn how to operate industrial walking-foot or lockstitch machines safely.
Proven Experience: Experience in the field of using industrial machines (Training will be provided however must have sewing machine experience)
Material Expertise: Experience handling heavy, dense, or slippery technical fabrics (e.g., fiberglass, canvas, vinyl).
Speed & Accuracy: Ability to maintain high production speeds while meeting quality tolerances.
Excellent time management skills
