Placed.au is looking for a full-time Marketing Officer for our client in Bangholme, Victoria. This role is responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies, analysing market trends, and promoting products across wholesale, retail, and consumer markets to support business growth. Conduct market research to identify market opportunities and understand customer requirements, behaviour, and trends in order to select and supply the appropriate product range and develop suitable marketing strategies for the Melbourne and Sydney locations.
Analyse marketing trends and consumer data to develop insights, identify future strategies, and recognise recent product trends.
Provide guidance on various aspects of marketing including product mix, pricing, advertising, sales promotion, selling strategies, and distribution channels.
Communicate and collaborate closely with internal teams to develop ideas for new marketing campaigns, advertisements, sales promotions, and align marketing initiatives with business goals.
Coordinate with international and domestic suppliers for promotional events and marketing campaigns.
Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans and strategies to promote products and reach target customers through traditional and digital marketing channels.




Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies as required to improve outcomes.
Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and maintain market competitiveness.
Participate in exhibitions to identify emerging trends, engage with suppliers, and promote the company's products.
Qualifications / Attributes
Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or at least five (5) years of relevant work experience may substitute for the formal qualification.
Must possess at least one (1) year of relevant work experience as a Marketing Officer, Marketing Specialist, or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of marketing strategy development and campaign management.
Experience conducting market research and analysing consumer behaviour and industry trends.
Strong understanding of digital marketing and traditional marketing channels.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Salary Range $75,000 – $90,000 per annum excluding superannuation.
