Female Personal Care Worker, Doncaster Templestowe Area

Responsibilities :
Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility
Provide light housekeeping such as laundry, dishes, and tidying up living areas
Prepare and serve meals according to clients' dietary needs and preferences
Support clients with medication reminders
Offer companionship and emotional support
Assist with errands and transportation to appointments as needed (if applicable)
Maintain accurate documentation of care providedCommunicate effectively with clients, families, and the care team
Monitor and report any changes in clients' physical, emotional, or cognitive condition to the care team or supervisor
Follow individualised care plans and organisational policies at all times
Promote client safety, wellbeing, and infection control practices
Work independently while following scheduled care visits and timeframes
Support clients with community access, including secure transport and accompaniment to appointments, social activities, and outings using own vehicle where required
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Certificate iii in individual support and gaed care
Previous experience as a PCA, caregiver, or in a related field preferred.
Cert iii in individual support or equivalent
Working with children check
Current First aid and CPR

Ability to work independently and follow care plans accurately
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's licence is must (own vehicle required; travel is an essential part of the role)
Must be willing to undergo and pass relevant background checks and meet all state-specific requirements.
Must be able to drive a car
