The Role:
The AOD Practitioner/Counsellor supports the alcohol and drug service to deliver holistic, trauma-informed, and culturally appropriate intervention and counselling to clients in a Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation centre.
Responsibilities include running programs and group therapy sessions, psycho-education, case management, and intervention-focused activities. The role also involves supporting clients with life skills development, case management, medical support, and transport.
Requirements:
Considerable AOD & Mental Health case management experience
Experience working with individuals affected by substance abuse
Understanding and experience in working with First Nation Peoples
Valid National Police Clearance
Current WA Driver's License
Covid Vaccinations
