The Business
Randstad are partnering with a well respected National Commercial builder, who construct projects up to $400m across multiple sectors, across Australia. This builder has 30+ years of operation, with a strong reputation in delivering complex builds for blue chip clientele.
The Role
The Senior Estimator will serve as a pivotal technical leader within the Estimating function.
Responsibilities include:
Independently producing high-quality, accurate, and competitive construction cost estimates.
Providing mentorship and technical guidance to Junior team members.
Managing medium-to-high complexity and high-value tenders.




Driving value-engineering outcomes.
Ensuring every bid is commercially robust, risk-aware, and positioned to win profitable work.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Demonstrative experience of at least 7-10 years of experience as a Commercial Construction Estimator.
Commercial & Industrial experience is essential
Proven expertise with estimating software - Cubit, Cubit Select & Buildsoft
A strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and local regulations.
Excellent analytical, mathematical, and negotiation skills.
Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
