Civic Pharmacy is seeking an experienced
Pharmacist
to join our team in Ringwood, VIC ****. This is a
full-time position
that plays a vital role in delivering exceptional pharmaceutical care and services to our community. As a Pharmacist, you will be at the forefront of our patient‐centred approach, ensuring the protected and effective use of medications whilst maintaining the highest standards of professional practice. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives whilst working within a supportive and collaborative pharmacy environment.
Key responsibilities
Dispense medications accurately and safely, verifying prescriptions and ensuring compliance with all legislative requirements
Provide professional pharmaceutical advice to patients regarding medication usage, potential side effects, and drug interactions
Conduct medication reviews and contribute to the optimisation of patient medication regimens in consultation with other healthcare professionals
Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient medication records in accordance with pharmacy regulations and standards
Manage inventory, ordering and stock control to ensure the pharmacy is adequately supplied and compliant with storage requirements
Counsel patients on the appropriate use of over-the-counter medications and health products
Collaborate with general practitioners, healthcare providers and other healthcare professionals to support optimal patient outcomes
Contribute to health promotion and disease prevention initiatives within the community
Ensure compliance with therapeutic goods and pharmacy legislation, regulations and professional standards
Supervise and mentor pharmacy staff and apprentices where applicable
What we're looking for
Current registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia and a valid pharmacy degree (Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent qualification)
Demonstrated experience working as a Pharmacist in a community pharmacy setting




Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products, drug interactions, contraindications and therapeutic applications
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively counsel diverse patient populations
Proficiency in pharmacy management software and information systems
Sound understanding of pharmacy legislation, regulations and professional obligations in Victoria and Australia
Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands
Commitment to continuing professional development and staying current with pharmacy practice standards
Previous experience with Webster packing, medication synchronisation or health screening services would be advantageous
