Operations Trainee – Transport & Logistics
Tranzworks is a fast-growing freight and logistics business providing dedicated vehicle solutions for major clients across Victoria. We're looking for a motivated Operations Trainee to join our team and learn the transport industry from the ground up.

About the Role
You'll be embedded in our operations team, working alongside experienced fleet controllers, transport coordinators, and management. Over time you'll build a broad understanding of how a modern transport operation runs — from driver coordination and compliance to client reporting and fleet administration.
This role is designed to grow with you.
What You'll Be Doing
Supporting fleet controllers with day-to-day driver communications and scheduling
Monitoring deliveries and following up on PODs and exceptions
Assisting with compliance document collection, checking, and uploading




Helping prepare operational reports and maintaining accurate system records
Planning, allocating and scheduling of jobs
Assisting warehouse operations as required
Handling general administration including data entry, emails, and filing
What We're Looking For
A genuine interest in transport, logistics, or operations
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Good communication skills — you'll be dealing with drivers, clients, and the internal team
Ability to stay calm and focused in a fast-moving environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
A current driver's licence
Previous experience in administration or a similar environment is a plus, but not essential
