TerryWhite Chemmart Balwyn is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispensary Technician to join our team in Balwyn. This is a part-time position that plays a crucial role in our pharmacy operations. As a Pharmacy Dispensary Technician, you will be at the heart of our dispensary, ensuring that prescriptions are accurately prepared, labelled, and dispensed to our patients. This role is essential to maintaining the efficiency and safety standards of our pharmacy and directly contributes to providing excellent healthcare services to our community.
What you'll be doing
Accurately dispensing medications according to prescriptions and healthcare provider instructions
Labelling and packaging medications with clear, accurate information and warnings
Maintaining detailed and organised records of all medications dispensed
Managing pharmacy inventory, including stock rotation, ordering, and storage of medications
Receiving and processing deliveries of pharmaceutical stock
Assisting with the preparation of compounded medications when required
Operating pharmacy management software and point-of-sale systems
Maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic dispensary environment
Supporting the pharmacist in providing excellent customer service to patients
Ensuring compliance with all relevant pharmacy legislation and regulations
What we're looking for
Qualified Pharmacy Dispensary Technician
Strong attention to detail with an ability to work accurately under pressure
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Proficiency in using pharmacy management systems and computer software, preferably FRED dispense.




Clear communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with patients, healthcare providers, and colleagues
A commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and data protection
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Previous experience working in a community or retail pharmacy environment is highly valued
Current First Aid certification is desirable
