Security Technician
to join our professional team.
About the Role
As a Security Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance of a wide range of electronic security systems. You will work independently and as part of a team, delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Install, service, and commission CCTV, access control, alarm, and intercom systems
Diagnose and troubleshoot faults efficiently
Conduct preventative maintenance and system upgrades
Complete service reports and documentation accurately
Liaise professionally with clients, contractors, and project managers
Ensure all work complies with industry standards and company procedures
Participate in on-call roster when required
About You
Essential Requirements




Current Victorian Security Equipment Installer Licence
Relevant technical qualifications or industry experience
Proven experience installing and servicing electronic security systems
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Current Australian Driver's Licence
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively
Full working rights in Australia
Desirable
Experience with Inner Range, Hikvision, Milestone, Avigilon, Integriti, Tecom, or similar platforms
Network and IP-based security system experience
Cabling licence and endorsements
EWP, Working at Heights, or White Card certifications
