Pick and Packer – High-End Architectural Door Hardware
We are working with a highly respected supplier of premium architectural door hardware used in some of Australia's most impressive residential homes. Their products are specified by architects, interior designers, builders and homeowners who expect quality, attention to detail and craftsmanship in everything they do.
As demand continues to grow, they are looking for a current team member to join their warehouse operation in Moorabbin.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being active throughout the day, takes pride in doing things properly, and wants to be part of a business where people genuinely enjoy coming to work.
You'll be joining a close-knit warehouse team of seven people where everyone pitches in, supports each other and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves when needed.
Most importantly, you'll be joining a company that values attitude over experience. If you're willing to learn, work hard and become part of the team, full product training will be provided.
About The Business
Our client is one of Australia's leading suppliers of luxury architectural door hardware and accessories, working closely with architects, interior designers, builders and homeowners on high-end residential projects.
Their product range includes premium door handles, entrance pulls, cabinet hardware, locking systems and architectural fittings sourced from some of the world's most respected manufacturers. Their products can be found in beautifully designed homes across Australia where quality, design and attention to detail matter.
The business has built an outstanding reputation within the architectural and construction community and continues to grow year after year.
What You'll Be Doing
No two days are exactly the same, but your responsibilities will include:
Picking and packing customer orders.
Configuring and assembling door hardware components.
Conducting quality assurance checks before products are dispatched.
Receiving and unloading incoming stock.
Labelling, sorting and organising inventory.
Assisting with stock control and stocktakes.
Updating information within internal computer systems.
Using Excel for basic warehouse administration tasks.
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment.
Assisting other team members wherever required.
This is a manual warehouse environment, not an automated fulfilment centre. Packages can range from 1kg through to approximately 20kg, so you'll need to be comfortable with physical work and being on your feet throughout the day.
Who We're Looking For
We're much more interested in attitude than finding the "perfect" resume.
You might currently be working as a:
Pick Packer.
Warehouse Store person.
Warehouse Assistant.
Architectural Door Hardware Technician.
Locksmith.
Carpenter looking to get off the tools.
Joiner or Cabinet Maker looking for a career change.
Trade Assistant.
General Warehouse Hand.
Powder coater.
You'll likely be someone who:
Enjoys working with their hands.
Takes pride in getting things right the first time.
Is comfortable using tools and assembling products.
Has basic computer skills.
Is eager to learn new products and systems.
Doesn't mind getting their hands dirty when required.
Are happy helping teammates even when the task isn't technically "their job".
Can leave outside distractions at the door and focus on the task at hand.
Appreciates working in an environment without constant micromanagement.
And one more thing...
You'll need to be comfortable around dogs. The company's much‐loved office dog is a regular fixture around the warehouse and is considered an important member of the team.
What's On Offer?
Monday to Friday only.
7:00am – 3:30pm.
Salary package between $60,000 – $75,000 + Super.
Full product training provided.
Supportive and genuinely friendly team environment.
Stable and growing business.
No micromanagement.
Opportunity to build long‐term skills within the architectural products industry.
While this role begins within the warehouse team focusing on picking, packing and product configuration, there are genuine opportunities for career progression.
The business is actively interested in speaking with candidates who may have backgrounds in powder coating, architectural door hardware installation, carpentry, joinery or related trades, as future opportunities are expected to open within installation and powder coating functions.
For the right person, this role can be the beginning of a much broader career path rather than simply another warehouse position.
