About the role
Join The Royal Melbourne Hospital as a Research and Administrative Coordinator and contribute to the delivery of high-quality research and improvement projects across the City and Royal Park campuses.
Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will support research activities including participant assessment, clinical data collection, data management, analysis and reporting.
This role provides an opportunity to contribute to projects that enhance patient care through accurate data collection, ethical research practices and effective project coordination.
Key Accountabilities
Coordinate research and project activities, including administration, data entry and documentation.
Support participant assessments, clinical data collection and engagement with patients, families and carers.
Manage research data from electronic medical records (EPIC), ensuring accuracy, quality and confidentiality.
Assist with ethics applications, project reporting and preparation of research documentation.
Conduct data analysis and quality assurance activities to support project outcomes.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and project stakeholders to support successful research delivery.

About You
A degree in biosciences/ health sciences, or evidence of a participation in higher level study relevant to discipline.
Completion of undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline and significant demonstrated relevant experience.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including a proven ability to produce a range of clear, succinct documentation and publication related materials.
Established high-level organisational and time management skills, including the ability to analyse and perform tasks to meet deadlines, maintaining a high degree of accuracy and consistency.
Experience in working with minimal supervision, and ability to prioritise tasks to achieve project objectives within timelines.
