About us
The MARAM Implementation Team in the Sentence Management Division of Corrections Victoria (CV)



in the Department of Justice and Community Safety is responsible for the management, coordination and oversight of a range of family violence operational projects as part of MARAM reform implementation.
These are integral to the effective response to family violence matters in the adult correctional system and play a unique role in contributing to the Government's community safety agenda.
What you will do
As MARAM Assessment and Coordinator, you will help improve family violence practice across Corrections Victoria.
You will assess risk, support staff and contribute to projects that strengthen community safety.
You will:
develop
risk assessments
,
risk management
plans and
safety
plans using the MARAM Framework
apply
professional judgement
to assess family violence risk and support safe decisions
share
risk
information with internal and external services and support family violence responses
support prison staff to manage family violence risk for people in custody and contribute to
practice
resources
prepare
reports
, briefs and correspondence while contributing to family violence projects.
About you
There are no mandatory qualifications for this role. Government experience, direct practice in family violence, trauma-informed practice, disclosure management or case work is desirable. Experience working in a prison setting is highly regarded.
You should also have:
