What you'll do
Lead the comprehensive planning, execution, and successful delivery of various ICT projects and products within the organization.
Engage with a diverse range of stakeholders, including clinical and administrative teams, to ensure that project objectives align with Eastern Health's strategic goals.
Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and status reports, to ensure transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
Monitor project progress and performance metrics, making necessary adjustments to ensure timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
Facilitate regular meetings with project teams and stakeholders to discuss project updates, address challenges, and celebrate milestones achieved.
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and deliverables.
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure that the technical aspects of projects are executed effectively and meet quality standards.
Provide training and support to end-users to ensure smooth adoption of new systems and processes introduced through projects.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in ICT project management and healthcare technology to drive continuous improvement.
Contribute to the development of a project management framework that enhances the efficiency and effectiveness of project delivery across the organization.




Assist in budget preparation and resource allocation for projects, ensuring optimal use of resources.
Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation within the team, encouraging creative solutions to complex challenges.
Requirements
At least 5 years of experience in managing projects and products specifically within the ICT domain.
Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects from inception through to successful completion, with a focus on achieving desired outcomes.
In-depth knowledge of healthcare systems, processes, and the unique challenges faced in the sector.
A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline is essential.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Strong analytical skills, with the capability to interpret data and provide actionable insights for decision-making.
Nice to have
Previous experience in a healthcare environment, which would provide valuable context for project management in this sector.
Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies, enhancing flexibility and responsiveness in project execution.
Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) would be advantageous, demonstrating a commitment to career development.
