Reporting into the Head of Innovation, you will lead the execution of social media video content across both the MAXNETWORK brands and MAXMEDIALAB's client portfolio.
As a social media content creator, you'll be responsible for collaborating in the conception of on-brand content and producing short-form, native content with a focus on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube, leading with creative originality and a deep understanding of what makes content resonate. You eat, sleep and breathe a variety of creative mediums, with a keen focus on social media. Part trend-spotter, part storyteller, part designer, you have a sharp visual POV and the instincts to know what will catch, connect and convert. From concepting to filming to editing to design, you'll be hands-on, creating content that inspires, entertains and fuels real-time brand love with cultural heat.
What you'll be working on
Develop and produce videos for Instagram, TikTok and YouTube Shorts, including lo-fi content, IRL interviews, trend-driven moments, voiceovers and beyond (both behind and in front of the camera as applicable)
Pitch and execute weekly ideas in collaboration with the social team, with a focus on always‐on support that ladders back to our content pillars
Collaborate with the broader marketing, social and influencer teams to bring campaign and launch moments to life in a forward‐thinking way
Create content that suits the specific channel needs and intent, with a deep understanding of how to optimise for paid when necessary
Concept, shoot, edit and produce content end-to-end, from trending TikTok moments to more elevated series and partnership‐driven moments.
Design static and animated social assets, including carousels, Stories, thumbnails, copy overlays and light motion graphics,



that hold up to the standards of premium brands.
Partner closely with the social team to develop smart, unexpected creative that aligns with brand voice and cultural trends
Monitor cultural trends and adapt them to each brand's voice and aesthetic in real time
Edit content with strong attention to pacing, tone, visuals, motion and light graphics
Source on‐brand trending sounds that are licensed for commercial use
Be nimble, experimental and constantly pushing the edge of what's possible for premium lifestyle content, thinking outside the box and drawing inspiration from all industries
Capture behind‐the‐scenes content at events and tailor it to the platform (photoshoots, launch events, retail activations and more)
Support scripting and copywriting where appropriate to ensure content messaging delivers on the intended purpose of the creative
Must haves
2 to 4 years of experience in content creation or social media, preferably for an agency.
Strong editing skills across CapCut, Instagram native editing tools, Adobe Premiere Pro, the full Adobe suite and Canva, plus confidence shooting on mobile and camera
Solid graphic design skills, including typography, layout and visual composition, with fluency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva.
Strong understanding of what's trending, what's about to trend and what makes content pop
An obsession with the arts. You are interested in various creative mediums and understand how they inspire the digital landscape
High energy, low ego and a clear creative point of view. You think in communities, not just followers, and you care deeply about how brands interact with people.
A love for storytelling, style and expressing creativity through visual identity
A portfolio or reel that shows range across brands, formats and design work
