Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service covers an area of 142,900 square kilometres. We go as far as Tully in the south, Cow Bay in the north and Croydon in the west.
The Health Service delivers a comprehensive range of public dental services across Far North Queensland through the Oral Health Service. The service forms part of Queensland Health's public oral health care system and is committed to improving access to high quality patient centred care. Services are delivered across community‐based clinics and health facilities, supporting preventive care, assessment, treatment, and emergency oral health services for both adults and children.
About you:
In your new role you will......
Support and participate in clinical and oral health promotion initiatives that focus on the prevention of dental disease for individuals and the target population.
Provide mentorship and supervision of dental students if required.
Provide leadership and direction of personnel working within your oral health team.
Maintain and apply effective interpersonal skills to facilitate the provision of a friendly,



caring environment for the treatment of patients/clients.
Provide high quality general practitioner oral health services to both adult and paediatric patients in fixed and mobile facilities located in hospital, community and school environments.
