About Us
The Bacena Group is a fast-growing private credit and property development business. Based in modern offices in Sydneys CBD. We're now looking for a hands‐on Senior Accountant who wants to make an impact, take responsibility, and grow with the business.
What You'll Do
Day-to-day responsibility for the accounting and financial operations of the property business.
Supporting general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end processes
Overseeing AP/AR transactions and helping to manage cash flow
Preparing NAV report, Expected Credit Loss Calculation and Cash Need Calculation.
Preparing monthly and annual reporting including forecasting
Understand GST Grouping, Tax Consolidation Group, Reduce Input Tax Credit and etc.
Supporting private credit and property business by building and maintaining cost models
Managing BAS, PAYG, tax, and regulatory filings
Managing Company Secretary activities for the Group




Implementing system upgrades and process improvements
Documenting Finance procedures and controls
Supporting engagement with external Auditors
Other ad-hoc duties as and when required
What You'll Bring
Accounting qualification (CA/CPA preferred) or relevant degree with strong experience.
Solid knowledge of financial operations and reporting
Sharp attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
Comfortable optimising and leveraging financial systems
A proactive attitude – you'll enjoy working both independently and as part of a team
Bonus Points For
Experience working with Oracle Netsuite or equivalent accounting packages. Please advise in your cover letter if you have used Oracle Netsuite before.
Background working in private credit accounting
Experience working as an auditor in finance industry
Familiarity with Company Secretary activities
Exposure to system implementation or process improvement activities
