Job Description
Primary Purpose
You're the person who keeps a group of government workplaces running. When something gets too complex for the floor, it comes to you: you work out whose job it is, get the right people moving, and stay on it until it's closed out. Through all of it, you're the steady point our customer relies on.
Snapshot of Your Day
Set your week up: read what's open across your sites and get ahead of what's urgent
Own medium to complex work orders end to end, lining up the right contractor or approval and seeing them through
Be the first point of escalation for the concierge team when an issue gets too complex for the floor
Work hand in hand with the facility manager and building management to keep sites and access running
Bring subject matter expertise to the scoping, planning and delivery of works and projects, and get to site for major repairs and relocations
Desired Skills and Experience




About You
Real facilities experience: soft facilities management, fit-outs, inventory and supplies
You build trust quickly with customers and colleagues, and you follow through
You can juggle several sites, contractors and competing priorities without dropping the ball
Comfortable travelling between sites across the week
Full Australian working rights and a current National Police Check, or the willingness to get one
Nice to have:
Confidence across the tools the work runs on: ServiceNow, SharePoint, Excel, Visio and building management portals
Project management skills: planning, coordination, risk management and delivery tracking
Continuous improvement: you spot inefficiency, streamline the process, and document it so the next person benefits
