We are seeking a
Structural Engineer
to join our growing Melbourne team. This role is ideal for engineers with 4+ years of post graduate experience who are eager to expand their expertise across a diverse range of projects and step confidently into greater responsibility.

In this role, you will:
Apply a deep understanding of engineering principles to devise and deliver practical and economical solutions to problems.
Produce designs, documentation, specifications, fee proposals,



reports and other documentation to meet client requirements for projects of reasonable complexity.
Prepare client reports.
Project management and compliance
Assume responsibility for the management of small, medium and some large-scale projects including duties such as pricing, tender submissions, technical documentation, project scheduling and meeting deadlines and budgets.
Ensure compliance with applicable Codes and policies– e.g. WHS practices and Quality Assurance.
Check structural engineers' work and provide technical guidance.
Who are we looking for
This role is ideally suited to someone with:
Member of Engineers Australia, CPEng/NER
At least 5 /6 years' experience in a similar role with timber experience is very desirable
Software: Etabs, Spacegass, RAM, RAPT
Site experience highly desirable – at least one building project with site attendance
Ability to prioritise incoming work appropriately
Excellent attention to detail
Qualified level of written and verbal communication skills
Problem solving/analytical skills
