Canva is hiring a full time Staff Front-End Engineer for Design Systems. The role focuses on evolving Canva's frontend stack by extending an existing React web component library into a portable React component library that renders via React DOM on web and React Native on mobile.
The engineer will own the Portable UI Platform, ship shared components across web and mobile, and mentor engineers while collaborating with product teams to drive strategic direction and AI-assisted workflow evolution.
