Annangrove Preschool Kindergarten is seeking a
Qualified Certificate 3 and/or Diploma Qualified Educator
to join our dedicated childcare team. This is a
part-time position
based in
Annangrove NSW ****
. In this role, you will play a vital part in creating a nurturing, educational environment where children can learn, grow and develop during their early years. Your expertise and passion for early childhood education will directly contribute to the wellbeing and development of the children in our care, whilst supporting families in our community.
Key responsibilities
Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate learning activities and play-based experiences that support children's cognitive, social, emotional and physical development
Provide direct care and supervision to children, ensuring their safety, health and wellbeing at all times
Build positive relationships with children and families, fostering open communication and trust
Maintain a clean, secure and stimulating learning environment that meets all relevant childcare standards and regulations
Observe and document children's progress, identifying developmental milestones and areas for support
Work collaboratively with other educators and staff to ensure consistent, high-quality care delivery
Support children's transitions throughout the day and manage routines including meals, rest times and hygiene practices
Respond sensitively to children's emotional needs and help develop their social skills and resilience
Maintain compliance with early childhood education frameworks, policies and procedures
What we're looking for
Current
Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
or
Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
(or equivalent qualification)
Current
First Aid and CPR certification
appropriate for childcare settings
Working knowledge of the
National Quality Framework (NQF)
and
Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
Strong commitment to child safeguarding, duty of care and best practice in early childhood education
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with children, families and colleagues
Ability to create inclusive, supportive environments that respect diversity and promote belonging
Physical capability to meet the demands of working with young children, including lifting, bending and active play
Reliable, professional approach with strong organisational and time management skills
Willingness to engage in professional development and stay current with early childhood education practices
Police clearance and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain these if required)
Experience in early childhood education settings is highly valued
