Reporting to the chief operating officeryou will take the lead fordeveloping andmaintainingthe supply chainsystems and processes to achievesustainable claims cost, repair quality, and customer satisfaction.
Overview:
This critical role will provide technical leadership andexpertise, manages strategic supplier relationships through review and monitoring performance.This role will drive continuous improvement across assessing and repair operations through model design and execution.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you willbe responsible for:
Leadingtheassessing and supplier performance across the GT Insurance's portfolios, including cost, quality, leakage, customerexperienceand claims cycle time.
Developingand drivingcost control strategies and practices with assessors, repairers and service providers whilemaintainingservice quality and compliance expectations.
Providingtechnical leadership and guidance on complex motor claims, assessment quality, repairmethodologyand escalation matters.
Monitoringassessor and repairer performance using operational data, file review outcomes, customerinsightsand commercial metrics.
Leadingstrategic repairer,assessorand service provider relationships, including performance reviews, negotiation, issueresolutionand improvement planning.
Supportingcompliance with relevant legislation, policies, procedures,codesand authority limits, includingappropriate decision-makingwithin delegated authority.
Identifyingand implement improvement opportunities across assessment processes, digital capability,



sustainabilityinitiativesand repair network performance.
Partneringwith internal Allianz and GT stakeholders to support portfolio performance, governance,riskand customer outcomes.
Coachingand supportingteam members or functional stakeholders to build technical capability and knowledge to support consistent decision-making.

Skills & Experience:
Relevant qualification and significant post-apprenticeship experience as a panel beater, spraypainteror motor mechanic; or significant motor insurance assessing experience; or completion of relevant vehicle loss assessing units.
Demonstrated experience managing specialist teams, remotestakeholdersor supplier networks.
Sound current and practical knowledge of the motor repair industry, including repair techniques, materials,finishesand equipment.
Valuable understanding of applicable motor vehicle insurance and repair industry codes,standardsand practices.
Strong record in managing strategic relationships,partnershipsand commercial negotiations.
Excellent leadership,communicationand interpersonal skills.
Analytical mindset with strong decision-making capability and the ability to use data toidentifytrends and improvement opportunities.
Ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity and provide pragmatic commercial solutions to meet stakeholder expectations.
