About the role
The HSEQ Compliance Coordinator - Wasteflex role is tasked with the governance of the company's compliance with its implemented Quality Integrated Management System in accordance with relevant ISO standards, legislation and contractual obligations and contractor management. This includes stewardship of the system, preparing the business for accreditation and surveillance audits, designing and managing compliance activities, coordinating the management review of the system, working with the operations team in managing the contractor compliance system and supporting Sales team with maintaining Wastelfex's compliance to Customer portals and tender requests.
There maybe times where you will also support other business units compliance and system requirements or participate in national projects.
This is a 0.4 FTE with days worked flexible.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the Integrated Management system and ensure its continuous use, adequacy and valid certification, including leading the surveillance and re-certification process.




Develop the system into a truly national quality management system with strong links to site based documents and systems of work.
Drive site risk management and compliance and ensure key documentation is updated.
Internally audit workgroups and their processes to ensure appropriateness and adequate management of risk.
Draft, modify and implement company policies and procedures in accordance with the Integrated Management System.
Support customer, contract and tender compliance requirements as required.
Manage the contractor compliance system, including onboarding new contractors and regularly reporting to the business key compliance KPIs.
Manage and action compliance requirements via the Compliance inbox including Customer portals etc.
Keep abreast of regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance control.
Prepare reports and updates for senior management on the performance, compliance and certification of the management system.
Complete internal audits in accordance with the requirements of the management system and certification.
Experience:
Formal qualifications and/or relevant experience - Certificate IV in OHS as a minimum
Minimum 5 years' experience in Quality and /or Safety role.
Minimum experience with ISO ****, *****, ***** or equivalent.
Internal Auditor qualifications or experience




Proficient computer skills with Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel
Strong planning, co-ordination and attention to detail with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships both internally and externally.
Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace, learn concepts and systems quickly.
Successfully work in a matrix organization structure.
